One of the Best Cookbooks for People with Diabetes...Jul 02, 2011

I haven't purchased many cookbooks in my 45 years of living with type 1 diabetes, but having met this wonderful young woman and knowing her a little now, I thought that this would be a wonderful treat for myself for my most recent birthday! This is such a great book as it's filled with a variety of recipes all ready for those of us with diabetes to fit into our daily meal plans, wonderful photographs of EVERY recipe so you know what it should look like when you've completed it and, nutrition information which is so vital for those of us carb counting. I strongly recommend this for anyone, but especially for those with diabetes or living with someone with it.

By Sandy Winterton The book is good, I like the hard cover; however, it came with the corner missing from one of the pages. Good thing I was keeping it for myself, as I would not give it as a gift with a flaw like that.

Nicole spoke at our school. My husband brought the cookbook home and has enjoyed making the recipes and I have drooled over the results. He hasn't made a bad meal yet. In fact, I look forward to when he gets the book out and makes something new!
